José Saramago's The Cave

Quite possibly one of the best books I've read that has an injection of Sci-fi to it. The majority of the work is not sci-fi at all, but there are little hints to what is really going on. If you've read The House of the Scorpion, you'll enjoy The Cave, especially the nice twist at the very end.

Story Submission

Okay, so I finally submitted a story somewhere and will submit another by the end of this week. The first one was sent to Mur Lafferty for the Writing Contest she's hosting from her kick ass podcast I Should Be Writing. The other place I'll most likely be submitting stories to will be Devil's Work Horror Magazine. If you haven't read the stories from this weekly newsletter you should, and the best part is, its free. Yes, free weekly horror stories delivered to your email account.

Other than that, no new progress.
On the LOST frontier, if you haven't been listening to the official podcast you should. Really interesting stuff with Damon Lindelof. As of this writing, it was announced on the Podcast that Darren Aronofsky will be directing a future episode of LOST's second season. There was also a mention, a playful one, that Quentin Tarentino might want to direct an episode, but Lindelof said that was just a fantasy thought for now.
